The MANDATORY dress code for the entire event is
FORMAL / BLACK TIE
Men:
  • Smoking / Tuxedo
  • Mil: spencer / gala or ceremonial dress ("Tenue 2B")
Ladies:

Parking space will be provided on site, free of charge.
Please follow instructions of our parking stewards at all times.
Shuttles will be arranged to limit walking distance and exposure to adverse weather conditions.

VIP-parking will be available upon presentation of a VIP Parking Card.
VIP guests will receive a personal invitation to attend the event including the VIP reception.
  • Invitations will be sent out NLT by the end of August.
  • Guests should keep in mind limited capacity.

Guests having already made a standard ticket booking and wishing to upgrade to a VIP ticket upon invitation, may contact ticketing@afgb.be.
  • Any change or upgrade beyond 07Oct22 can not be guaranteed;
  • Upgrades pending VIP ticket availability.

AFGB Guests are free to choose any hotel or lodging arrangement. However, the complimentary shuttle service is exclusively offered to guests staying at either of these hotels (sharing a single parking lot).

ALL guests are required to present their UNIQUE ticket with individual QR-code at the check-in desk upon arrival.

In order to avoid long queues, please prepare to present your ticket (printed or displayed on your smart device) to our check-in stewards.

Troubleshooting will require booking reference & name of the main booker of your party.
Unfortunately, we have a limited seating & catering capacity and we can simply not accommodate all new or additional ticket requests.

We have reached our full standard admission seating capacity on 04 Sep 22.

We are currently processing payments and table seating. Should a spare capacity open up, we will reach out soon to those members of the Air Force having contacted us early September.

The maximum amount of tickets one person is allowed to book per transaction is 10 (i.e. the maximum number of seated guests per dining table).

In order to allow as many people as possible to get a coveted spot at the event and to avoid empy seats on the night of the Gala, multiple large bookings are strongly discouraged.
Ticket sales will end on Friday 07Oct OR as soon as the event has been sold out.

Keep in mind that previous editions of the AFGB were all sold out!

  • Any booking for more than 1 guest is considered a group booking.
  • Only the main booker's name is registered during the booking process. This means we are not able to process, change or manage specific guests being part of a group or party of guests, nor their requests. See booking changes for more info.
  • The person carrying out a group booking remains responsible for their party, its composition and overall adherence to general rules and practicalities, such as dress code, timing, ticket distribution, etc.
  • For maximum amount of tickets per booking, refer to F.A.Q. under "BOOKING"
  • Any person making a booking may express their seating preferences during the booking process, simply by stating the name of another person having made/making a ticket booking (e.g. "John Doe"), OR a clear and unambiguous reference to a group (e.g. "5Sqn", "COA A3", "MMU").
  • IMPORTANT: only the name of the main booker (person carrying out a ticket booking) is known. 
    • Guests belonging to a known group desiring to be seated together are strongly encouraged to coordinate a unique reference to their group (see above) before carrying out their booking.
  • Our team will pair up seating preference requests as good as they can - however - requests can not be guaranteed for all, taking into account limited seating space or cominations thereof at neighboring tables.
  • Any booking is to be considered final as from ticket issuance (i.e. when payment of amount due has been confirmed).
  • Changes are no longer possible as from that moment.

  • Cancellations are not possible, unless for the following compelling reasons:
    • Operational engagement (proof required);
    • Unforeseen illness or a medical condition preventing a guest from attending, unknown or not prevailing at the moment of booking (proof required);
    • Any situation leading to the overall cancellation of the event.
  • No refunds are possible after 17 Oct 22 
    • Except for persons having contracted COVID-19, in which case a positive PCR test result is imperatively required (test carried out NET 11 Oct 22).

  • Invitations will be sent out NLT by the end of August.
  • Guests should keep in mind that there is a limited capacity.

Guests having already made a standard ticket booking and wishing to upgrade to a VIP ticket upon invitation, may contact ticketing@afgb.be to do so.

Tickets are sent to the email address of the main booker as soon as payment of the entire booking has been confirmed.
It is the responsibility of the main booker to distribute individual tickets to the guests of their party.
The main booker can view his order and retrieve all purchased tickets in their personal Guest Zone. To do so:
  1. Desktop
    1. Click the round button depicting the first letter of your first name in the upper right corner of your screen. 
    2. In your Guest Zone, choose the button "Event & Tickets" 
    3. Look for your tickets and hit the INFO button
      • Display the QR codes one by one for check-in purposes
      • Choose to print your tickets, after which you can either save or send the tickets by message or email.
    4. Carry out payment for any unpaid tickets by clikcing the PAY button.
  2. Mobile device
    1. Click the menu icon (upper left corner of your screen)
    2. Click the Guest Zone icon at the bottom of the menu
    3. Follow steps in 2. above.
